Songs and Heroes

One of the highlights of my day today was watching a show today of Bill Gaither interviewing George Beverly Shea. He is the man who sang at the Billy Graham Crusades for many many years, He started singing the song, "How Great Thou Art," and "I'd Rather Have Jesus". Both very powerful songs. It is amazing to me, how Billy Graham, Cliff Barrows, and George Beverly Shea, are all very old, and have continually served the Lord for so many years. George Beverly Shea is now 98 years old. There committment to serving God is so strong, and God has used them to reach so many people who needed Jesus. Praise God for Heroes of the faith, they inspire all of us to continue on, run the race of faith, reach out to others, and just keep going for Jesus!
